My passion for teaching linguistics and the English language is is reflected in a substantial teaching record and a vast pool of materials that I have created over the years.
Undergraduate
courses
Introduction to English linguistics
At Leipzig University, my major types of courses comprise an introduction to the core areas of linguistic analysis as well as a hands-on introduction to conducting linguistic research.
At FSU Jena, I regularly taught a two-semester module for beginning students (SAMPLE SYLLABUS). For this module, I have written a corresponding two-volume course reader. As it is tailored to the specifics of the module structure of that department, the reader is currently unpublished teaching material.
